Admission Requirements
For Diploma Programs:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
Mature Student Status: Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a superintendent-approved qualifying test
Basic computer knowledge (preferred)
Proficiency in English
For Postgraduate Diploma Programs:
Post-secondary Diploma or Degree (or equivalent)
Proficiency in English
Additional Requirements for Diploma in Personal Support Worker (PSW):
Completed Medical Form (to be submitted within 30 days of program start)
Police Check – Vulnerable Sector Search (to be submitted within 30 days of program start)
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification (required before starting the practicum)

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

The medium of instruction at Ruhani College is English. It is important that the student has English speaking and writing skills in order to cope up with the curriculum. In case English is not the first language, the candidate is required to demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting results of one of the following:
IELTS Academic Module with an overall band of 5.5 or more
TOEFL result with a score 80 (online) or 550 (paper-based)
MELAB with a score of 80
PTE (Academic) with a minimum 50 overall
Minimum of 3 years of full time study at a school where medium of instruction is English. A letter from the institution or the transcript justifying the medium of instruction must be submitted for evaluation.
