Better Job Ontario Grant

The Better Jobs Ontario (BJO), formerly known as the Second Career program, is an initiative by the Ontario government aimed at helping laid-off workers transition into high-demand occupations. Through this program, individuals can receive financial assistance to cover the costs of training and education, as well as basic living expenses while they pursue their studies.

Ruhani College offers a comprehensive 50-week diploma program specializing in RMT. This program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to obtain their Ontario RMT license. With a focus on hands-on learning and real-world experience, students explore 13 different skill areas within the RMT industry, building confidence and expertise through live-client interactions and portfolio development. Qualifying for the Better Jobs Ontario/Second Career grant is accessible to those who have been laid off and are currently working temporary jobs to make ends meet. Additionally, individuals who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 may be eligible for full coverage of training costs, as well as certain living expenses. Recent expansions to the program criteria have widened eligibility to include individuals with little or no work experience, self-employed individuals, newcomers, youth, and social assistance recipients.
